"I recently purchased a New Accord Coupe from here, and have to say that Shawn H, the sales associate assisting me, turned a typically nerve-racking, bordering on harrowing, experience into a very pleasant one. Let me preface my story by saying that prior to going to Marin Honda, I checked a couple of other Honda dealerships (SF Honda and Serramonte Honda) and ultimately wound up at Marin for a couple of reasons. One, when I went to SF Honda, I could not even find a place to park. That thoroughly pissed me off, and I refuse to do business with any place where they dont provide reasonably adjacent parking for customers/guests. Two, I went to Serramonte Honda, and the only Accord Coupe I saw on the lot was the one on the show room floor, and the sales person did not seem overly interested in helping me; once again, I am not pleased!! Bay area sales people have a thing or two to learn about customer service, as this is not the first time I have encountered lethargic, self-absorbed dolts who MAKE A LIVING selling!! I moved here from Texas, where they encumber you with customer service!! (and for those of you wise asses who are posturing themselves to say" well, why don't you go back to Texas" let me just cut you off at the knees and admonish you to not even go there!!
Now, all of the aforementioned being said, I emailed Marin Honda because they actually had some Accord Coupes in stock. I had no more hit the send button, and got a phone call from Shawn H. I arranged to come out on Saturday and drive the car(s) I had looked at online. Well, long story short, and not to marginalize the assistance of Shawn, the 08 Accord pretty much sells itself..What a HUGE improvement over previous models.. I can safely say this because I traded a 2005 Audi A4, so I initially thought I would be comparing apples to oranges. However, It was quite a pleasing experience to drive the new Accord..We got back to the sale office, and in about two hours, we had everything done, and I was driving home in my new Accord. The following Saturday, I brought it back to the dealership, they detailed it and re-filled the tank with gas..Nice touch!!"

Although there is a Honda dealer closer to where I live, I take my car to Honda Marin because I TRUST THEM.

"I have to say that I went to Marin Honda specifically to see Shawn H based on the yelp reviews. Short answer: it was the easiest transaction I've ever had with a car and Shawn is no ordinary sales rep. Having gone thru a number of transactions (6 previous Honda leases) that ranged from okay to totally nightmarish, Shawn's integrity (did you think the word 'integrity' would ever come up when shopping for a car?), easy-going manner, and his no-pressure, no-haggle approach took car transactions into a new world for me. I'm not telling you the deal I got, but it was good. And, when I got back home, I still had all of my nails, hair and sanity intact. I absolutely love this car - and Shawn. The other folks I met at the dealership seem to share the same approach, so I recommend these guys highly. The funny thing was, when I walked into the dealership, I asked for Shawn straight-out, and you could see on his face that he thought he probably had emailed or spoken with me before that day but had no recollection of it. I let him dangle for a while before letting him know that I called him cold based on the yelp reviews. He was really tickled by that."
